Semiya/Vermicelli Payasam

Serves 4
Ingredients Required:
Whole Milk - 4 cups
Roasted thin vermicelli - 3/4 cup (crushed)
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Cardamon - 1/2 tsp
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup (Optional)

For Garnishing:
Almonds - 10, sliced
Cashews - 10, roughly chopped
Raisins - 10
Ghee - 1 tblsp

How to make?
Boil the milk in a pan. When it comes to a boil, add the roasted vermicelli and heat the milk on low heat. 
Allow to cook for few minutes until the vermicelli is cooked.
Add the sugar and cardamon.
Add the coconut milk  and switch off.
In a small pan, heat the ghee, roast the nuts and raisins. Garnish the Payasam.
Cool down and refrigerate.
Serve chilled.

Coconut Milk is optional. It just adds a good flavor to the Payasam.
