This was one of my all time favorite snack during my college days. Me and my friends usually used to get together for a snack in a local sandwich shop near our place for a chat and this dish was sure to be on our table! Cheesy, Spicy and Yummy!
I had the sudden urge to make this and made it for a mid day snack and it sure did bring back memories :)
A simple dish that can be made in a jiffy with the basic ingredients in your kitchen.
Serves 1 - 2
White/Wheat bread slices - 4
Butter - 1 tbsp
Shredded Mozerella Cheese - as needed
Finely Chopped Cilantro - 2 tbsp
Green Chilli - 2, finely chopped
Salt and pepper - for garnishing
How to make?
Spread the butter on one side of all the bread slices for a golden and crispy toast.
Spread out the cheese (as much or as little as you wish).
Top it up with green chilli and cilantro.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
Place another bread on top, with the butter side facing you.
Place this in the heated sandwich maker, make sure that the buttered sides are all outside, touching the heat.
Close and grill for 3 - 5 minutes (depending on how well you want your toast).
Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup.
