Bisibelebath Masala Powder

Ingredients Required:
Dry Red Chilli - 10
Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon Sticks - 2
Cloves - 4
Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp
Cardamon - 2 (Optional)
Coriander Seeds - 2 tbsp
Channa Dhal - 2 tbsp
Urad Dhal - 2 tbsp
Dessicated Coconut Powder- 2 tbsp (Optional)
How to make?
Heat a pan on medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the above ingredients in the same order nad dry roast them on low heat till golden brown.
Finally add the coconut powder and remove from flame.
Cool down the mixture and grind them to a coarse powder.

Use the dessicated coconut powder if using the masala immediately else add directly to the dish, as coconut reduces the shelf life.
Freshly grated coconut can also be substituted for dessicated coconut.
If going to store the masala, skip the coconut and the masala has a long shelf life.
This makes masala powder for one or two making of the dish. Increase the amount accordingly for more quantity.
Store in a air tight container.
