Radish Chutney


Serves 2
Ingredients Required:
Baby Raddish - 8 - 10, peeled and chopped
Onion - 1/2, sliced
Tomato - 1, chopped
Red Chilli - 8
Coriander Seeds - 3 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Tamrind pulp - 1 tbsp
Oil
Salt to taste

For Seasoning:
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few twigs
Oil

How to make?
Heat little oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fenugreek and red chillies and fry till golden in color and set aside.
Fry the chopped onions, fry till golden.
Add the radish and tomato and fry for few more minutes till the raw smell goes and set aside.
After it cools down, add all the fried ingredients in a blender and grind to a paste.
Add little water if required.
Add salt to the chutney and mix well.
Heat some oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds and allow to splutter, add the urad dhal and curry leaves and fry till golden.
Add this seasoning to the chutney.
Serve with idly/dosa.
