Cabbage Rice

Serves 2
Ingredients Required:
Rice - 1 cup
Shredded Cabbage - 1 cup
Carrot - 1, peeled & diced
Peas - 1/4 cup
Green Chilli - 1
Cilantro - few springs
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

How to make?
Pressure cook the rice with 1 1/2 cup of water and set aside.
In a pan, heat a little oil, add the cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
Add the cabbage, carrot, peas and green chilli.
Add salt and turmeric powder and give a gentle mix.
Close the pan, and allow to cook on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
Make sure to give a stir once in couple of minutes so it does not burn.
Once cooked,  switch of the stove, mix in the rice and fold gently.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with curd/raita.
