Makes 6 - 8
Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 cups
Water - 3/4 Cup
For the Filling:
Spring Onions - 1 bunch, chopped
Salt to taste
Paratha Masala - 1 tsp
How to make?
Mix the wheat flour, salt and slowly add in the water and knead into a soft pliable dough. Set aside.
In a bowl add the chopped spring onions, salt, paratha masala, and paneer. Mix well and set aside.
Divide the dough into 6 or 8 balls.
Roll out a ball of dough into a chappathi.
Spread the filling on the rolled chappathi.
Roll this up.
And again roll it like a swirl.
Gently press it down.
Roll this into a paratha using a rolling pin.
Heat a tawa, and place this on the tawa when hot. Brush little oil on both sides. Cook on low flame till brown spots appear on both sides.
Serve hot with raita!
I made this paratha in two ways, the one shown above and also similar to how I make an aloo paratha.
Both the methods are easy and tasty :)
