Moong Dhal Payasam

This Payasam is usually made on some festival day and is very easy to make. We enjoyed this on Tamil New Years Day!
Serves 2
Ingredients Required:
Moong Dhal - 1/4 Cup
Jaggery - 1/2 Cup
Milk - 1 1/2 Cup
Water - 1/4 Cup
Cardamon - pinch
Cashews - 6
Ghee - 1 tblsp

How to make?
Pressure cook the moong dhal, mash it and set aside.
Dissolve the jaggery in the water on low heat and set aside.
Boil the milk in a vessel, and add the jaggery water and the moong dhal.
Fry cashews in ghee and garnish the payasam along with a pinch of cardamon.
