Mixed Dhal Vadai

This is the first time I am trying and tasting this recipe. I got this from my MIL, as she usually makes this on Tamil New Years Day, she told me to try it out. It came out deliciously well :)

Makes 15 - 20
Ingredients Required:
Toor Dhal - 1/2 Cup
Channa Dhal - 1/4 Cup
Urad Dhal - 1/4 Cup
Salt to taste
Cilantro - few springs
Green Chilli - 1
Ginger - 1 tsp
Hing - pinch
Oil - 1 cup

How to make?
Soak all the dhals together in water for 1 hour.
Drain the water, and grind the dhals along with cilantro, hing, salt, ginger and green chilli.
Grind to a thick paste, avoid adding water.
Heat the oil in a pan.
Take small quantities of the batter, and drop it in the oil and press down gently with a ladle to flatten it.
Deep fry the vadai until golden brown in color and serve hot.
