Vegetable Rava Kichidi


Serves 2
Ingredients Required:
Rava - 2 Cups
Mixed Chopped Vegetables - 1 Cup (Carrot, peas,beans)
Ghee - 1 tblsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Channa Dhal - 1 tblsp
Black gram dhal - 1 tsp
Hing - pinch
Cilantro - few springs
Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste 
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Green Chilli - 2, chopped

How to make?
Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the rava on low heat till the color changes to light brown and set it aside.
Heat some more ghee, add the mustard seeds and allow to splutter, then add channa dhal. black gram dhal, hing, ginger paste, green chilli and fry for few minutes.
Add the chopped vegetables and 4 cups of water ( 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rava).
Add the salt and turmeric powder. 
Add the rava, when the water starts to boil and the vegetables are semi boiled.
When adding rava, add slowly and keep stirring with one hand so the rava does come together.
Close the pan and heat on low for 5 - 10 minutes.
Add more ghee if required.
Garnish with cilantro and lemon juice if required.
