Tomato Soup

This is my own recipe. Just tried out with ingredients that I had at home at it came out well. 


Serves 2


Ingredients Required:
Tomato - 2
Tomato Puree - 1/2 Cup
Onion - 1 , chopped lengthwise
Garlic - 2 cloves
Bay Leaves - 2
Cloves - 4
Flour - 1 tbl.sp
Milk - 1/2 Cup
Salt as required
Butter - 2 tbl.sp


For Garnishing
Cilantro
Basil 
Pepper
Salt
Fried Bread cubes






How to make?
Heat half of the butter in a pan and add bay leaves and cloves.
Add the chopped onions and garlic and fry till they turn golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes and the tomato puree with 1 cup water.
Mix well and close the lid, let it cook well for 10 minutes on medium heat.
Cool this mixture and remove the bay leaves and cloves and then grind it.
If required strain the mixture using a strainer.
Heat the other half of the butter in the pan and add the flour, fry for few minutes and then add the milk.
After few minutes a thick paste would be formed.
Add the strained out soup to this heat till serving temperature.
Garnish with chopped cilantro, basil, and fried bread cubes.
