Mooli (Radish) Paratha
Wheat Flour - 2 Cups
Grated Radish - 1 Cup
Kasuri Methi - 1 tbl.sp (Optional)
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Paratha Masala/Garam Masala - 2 tsp
Corainder Powder - 1 tsp
Salt as required
Cilantro - Chopped
How to make?
In a large mixing bowl, mix all the above ingredients together. Add very little water if required as the radish itself will be moist enough to make the dough.
Make into a very stiff dough as when it is left for sometime, it would become soft.
Leave the dough aside for few minutes.
Make 6 balls and roll them into circles using a rolling pin.
Roll out the dough very gently as the dough would be soft.
Make the circles little thicker then the normal chapathi.
Heat the tawa, and place the paratha on the tawa.
Apply oil on both sides and cook till light brown spots appear on the surface.
Cut into 4 pieces and serve with raita or curd.
